Collaborating with local, small businesses and creatives is something I love doing as a way to create valuable connections, exercise my creative expression and of course, produce interesting work.

My friends at Starling On Bond, a Brooklyn based event coordinating and bespoke design company reached out to Union Adorn (my design company) to support them in creating a brand narrative for the caterer and artisan jam maker, Nicole Rutsch of Nicole Rustch Catering. Together we conceptualized a visual story to depict the essence of the brand through highlighting the fundamental ingredients of the products Nicole creates, process images, as well as some of the food or drink recipes her catering business is known for. The photographer Quyn Duong beautifully captured these compositions.

Below are a few images from the day, my personal favorites are of the fruit images and the way their saturated, lush colors create a strong juxtaposition against the cold hard concrete.

Our Eclectically French Influenced Dining Room

A touch of modern, leaning towards traditional with a lot of French influence. I wanted our dining room to be the eclectic and slightly strange mix some of my favorite eras in design, while still incorporating some of my existing collection of antiques and vintage artwork.
